Hi, my name is Tarnia. I'm a realism artist based in southeast Queensland, specialising in lifelike animal portraits celebrating the often-overlooked beauty of our animal kingdom. As a devoted equestrian and proud mum to my (many..!) beautiful animals - horses, dogs, miniature goats and chickens, my love for animals is the heart of everything I create.

Nature has always been my sanctuary - offering comfort through life's challenges and grief. Gowing up with horses taught me the healing power of animals. As an introvert and deeply empathetic creative, I channel emotion and connection into every piece I create.
 
My goal is to honour the spirit of every animal I draw. Through my work, I hope to inspire a sense of awe, love and appreciation for these incredible creatures - and to preserve their likeness in a way that feels soulful, not just skilled.
